Bespoke Furniture at
JANE WALTON INTERIORS
Passionate about Design
JANE WALTON
is delighted to be working in association with the inspiring partnership
Harrison-Green
Design Ltd. The company specialises in producing one off and limited edition bespoke pieces of furniture to their own designs. Their influences are taken from classic design style and proportion, but with a modern flair. Each piece is hand made and finished in one of the exotic woods with which they work, the emphasis being on individuality and quality, rather then quantity. Private commissions are also undertaken and, as a team, we are happy to work closely with clients and designers to ensure each piece is just right for their needs.
With
Harrison-Green's background being in the antiques and restoration trades, they not only have a deep appreciation and a great eye for furniture, but they understand it's practical and visual requirements and so each piece is designed to be utterly useable, whilst standing on its own as a work of art.
Below are some examples of previous commissions and some current stock. In the stock page on the
JANE WALTON website, you will find a category for current items available for sale.

Our Green Credentials:
Veneering obtains the maximum possible use of any log and so clients can feel comfortable that they are purchasing an item that contributes to the sustainability of wood. Whilst the veneers used are exotic woods, international regulations provide assurance that no endangered species can make their way to these shores and there is an onus on importers to comply with procuring their woods from sustainable supplys.
The base material for veneering has to be either fibre board or plywood for structural integrity, i.e., to avoid shrinkage and splitting. Both of these are a much more efficient use of timber than solid wood carcassing, which apart from being hugely expensive now, .few people store (dry) timber in any quantity for long enough for there to be suitable supply for use. The cedarwood linings come from Wales. Sustainability is an important factor in any manufacturing and is taken very seriously by Harrison-Green, and supplys of any solid timbers used, are also checked that they come from sustainable resources.
Currently in production are a dining table and coffee table.
