Sometimes its the imperfections, that provide the beauty

 

I have been dealing in decorative antiques and garden ornament since 1999.  I quickly realised that my forte and passion lay with garden ornament, both antique and the more contemporary, and I still specialise in this field today.  However, I never could walk past an unusual piece of furniture or decorative item and so now I deal as much in 19C to 21C objects as anything else.  I run a small shop in Lombard Street, Petworth which I try to open from Wednesday to Saturday 10.30am to 5.30pm and other times when I can.

   

In 2009 I also started, along with my friend and business partner Jill Perry of Norfolk Decorative Antiques, a web based business called the DECORATIVE COLLECTIVE which showcases over 70 Antique, 20C and 21C dealers and their stock.  Please view this at www.decorativecollective.com.

September 2011 - Jill and I have now also launched another portal website called THE HOARDE which will showcase, retro, vintage, decorative items and moderately priced antiques. It is intended to compliment the Decorative Collective and appeal to a younger, trendier audience.  www.thehoarde.com.
